Program Overview

These CME/CE seminars provide expert guidance and interactive case discussion on current and emerging treatments for multiple myeloma in the frontline and relapsed settings, as well as important clinical considerations in special patient populations

Goal

The goal of this activity is to provide community-based clinicians with the opportunity for timely, engaging, and personalized education on the optimal treatment of multiple myeloma from initial diagnosis through refractory disease.

Target Audience

This activity is intended for community-based physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals who provide care for patients with multiple myeloma.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Compare the mechanisms of action of different classes of targeted agents for treating patients with multiple myeloma
  • Evaluate the efficacy and safety of current and novel frontline therapies for the treatment of patients with multiple myeloma
  • Analyze evolving evidence on the management of patients with relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma
  • Differentiate frontline therapeutic approaches for multiple myeloma patients with comorbidities
  • Review the treatment options for patients with multiple myeloma who are ineligible for transplantation because of age or renal insufficiency
